At Thomasville Veterinary Hospital our team knows that you want to give your pet their very best shot at a long and healthy life, but as important as regular preventive care is for your pet's health, we also know that sometimes it can be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Pet Wellness Plans were created with convenience and cost savings in mind. Pet Wellness Plans for Davidson County dogs and cats 'bundle' all the annual preventive services your pet needs into 12 easy monthly payments, saving you money and helping your pet thrive.
Our Pet Wellness Plans include all the preventive healthcare services that your dog or cat needs to give them their best shot at great long-term health.
Each Wellness Plan includes essential preventive care your pet needs, including twice-yearly wellness exams, core vaccinations, an annual fecal exam, a 12-month supply of flea and tick prevention, and heartworm testing and prevention medications for dogs.
Wellness exams are a complete health check for your pet. They allow us to find and treat any emerging health issues and check on your pet’s diet to ensure they’re getting enough daily nutrients.
Sometimes pets can appear healthy, but the early signs of disease can lurk in their bodies - sometimes with no obvious symptoms. That’s why we run bloodwork to ensure they’re in tip-top shape.
Parasites can be deadly for an animal of any size if left untreated. Prevention provides the best protection, which is why we provide a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medication with every Wellness Plan.
If your pet does become infected, our fecal exams and heartworm tests are designed to catch these life-threatening conditions, which are often undetectable until your pet gets seriously ill.
Below are a few of the common questions clients ask about our Pet Wellness Plans.
Both Wellness Plans and Pet Insurance offer valuable benefits for cats and dogs. However, they are quite different.
Depending on your provider and level of coverage, the veterinary services that are covered by pet insurance and wellness plans will vary.
In general, Wellness Plans are intended to help manage the cost of regular preventive care, and Pet Insurance is designed to cover the costs of emergencies, accidents, or unexpected illnesses.
We offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra-large dogs, giant dogs, and cats.
Yes! Wellness Plans work very well for young, healthy pets. They require regular preventive care early in life to help them stay healthy as they age. Vaccinations are included in the plan when you sign your puppy or kitten up for a Wellness plan.
Absolutely! Like puppies and kittens, older pets require special age-related care as well, and our Wellness Plans are a great way to ensure your pet remains healthy as they age. Our plans can be customized to suit the needs of specific animals, and that includes the needs of aging animals.
Wellness Plans for older pets include the core services as well as some screening services for age-related disorders and diseases.
We use a secure portal to enter your credit card information. You will choose a withdrawal date that works best for you (between the 1st and 15th of the month), and your card will be charged monthly on that date.
Should you have any issues with your card (e.g., expired, lost, or stolen), please let us know as soon as possible so we are able to update the information.
Wellness Plans can be paid monthly, or the full amount can be paid upfront when you register your pet.
If you sign up multiple pets for Wellness Plans, you will only be charged one $50 enrollment fee.
Please notify us if your pet passes during the 12-month commitment and we will cancel the plan for you.
Wellness Plans will cover the recurring preventive services that all pets need, such as core vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and parasite prevention.
You will also receive a 10% discount on any other services or products we offer with exception to food and grooming (e.g., dental procedures, spay & neutering, etc).
Yes, your Wellness Plan will renew each year automatically unless you request it to be canceled.
Preventive and routine care is essential but can quickly add up, even for young or healthy pets.
Our Wellness Plans are designed to have the same, easy-to-manage monthly payment. This means you know your pet will get the care they need without any financial surprises.
As Wellness Plans spread out the payments, it helps to avoid bigger bills each time you bring your pet into the vet.
